FRI 27 | Anyone who’s lived in Cambodia for a substantial period should be well aware of the issues surrounding the poor working conditions of the country’s garment factory workers. A movie made by garment factory workers in collaboration with the Workers Information Centre Cambodia, Salary Hunger provides an insight into the garment workers’ ongoing effort for fair treatment and salary within the industry. Even if you consider yourself well versed in the plights of the garment worker, this event provides the unique opportunity for Q&A with garment workers after the movie, as well as a live musical performance by The Messenger Band.
